Αλήθεια ξέρετε τι σημαίνει η λέξη sill??? Προσωπικά δεν ξέρω οπότε δεν καταλαβαίνω ακριβώς τι εννοεί.
Basically, Does the car lean to the side when empty? If no, the springs are probably ok. A check I do that is quick and simple is to look at the vehicle from the side. A straight line following the bottom of the sill should, on a standard Niva, when empty, pass through the wheel centres when extended. If it does, it's fine. Mine's a 2003 model and, although it's only done about 15000 miles, most of that has been off-road, and the springs are fine. I can't measure the gaps I'm afraid, as they're nowhere near standard because of the modifications I've carried out. Hope that helps.
