The final design of
the tarmac track that will be constructed in the
Athens Olympic Stadium to host the Acropolis Rally 2005 superspecial
stage will be improved according to the first sketches.
The Greek rally
organiser (ELPA) aims to offer an even more exciting show to the
thousands of rally fans expected to follow the event.
From Wednesday May 18th, Acropolis Rally
2005 fans can book tickets for the Athens Superspecial that will take
place on Thursday June 23rd, at .
According to it’s
new format, the track is 1.2 Km long with 8 right hand and 4 left hand
corners and now includes a bridge in the middle.
The cars will enter
the stadium, will pass two by two the start ramp and will get on the
grid for the great show.
In the newely designed track, the competitors
will follow parallel routes most of the time and will finish side by
side after completing two laps, 2.4 Km long.
The Greek rally
organiser (Automobile & Touring Club of Greece-ELPA) is organising
the Athens superspecial stage in association with Lamarco Event
Promoters, a Greek company specialized in motorsport events like Athens
supercross and Lilea Superspecial stages (Acropolis 2003, 2004).
The tickets cost 20-25 and 40 euros depending on the seat location. VIP
tickets cost 120 euros and include snacks and drinks.

Tickets can be delivered via post or courrier (from 6 to 17/6) and will
be also available at the Athens Olympic Stadium sales points from June
